 Shadow is a teen kitten that needs to have a new home.  There is a dog where she lives and although the dog is trained as a service dog and kind and gentle, Shadow misbehaves - to the point she needs to be an outside kitty right now.

Shadow was adopted as a 7-week baby and is now 7-months.  She is currently living outside with inside privileges because she is unreliable with the litter box especially where the dog is concerned.  The family has tried everything.  This sweet, super friendly and outgoing kitty unfortunately needs a new home where she will be kept safe and loved.  Her young child owner is very sad that this has to happen and needs to know that his kitten will be safe and cared for.  This is very important.

When adapting a kitty to her new outdoor location she needs to be kept in a sheltered room or situation where she can learn her new surroundings without getting scared and running away.  This kitten has known love and being indoors for most of her whole life.  It is possible that she will change her naughty ways when there is no longer a dog present but we cannot give a guarantee.  If you have time and a caring heart and think that you can help Shadow have a great home with you please call 503-312-4296.  Your application should be completed at catscradlerescue.com/adopt and when reviewed will be sent to the owner.
