"My name is Baby.  I came to live with my foster mom when I was just a few months old.  I was not treated well in my previous home, and came into foster care scared and hungry.  But since then I’ve learned to love people!  I love head pets, and I really love to eat.  I’m super athletic, so playing with a laser or a feather toy can keep me entertained for hours, after which you can find me lounging on the sofa.  I would love to find a home without small children, or dogs, but I do enjoy the company of cats.  Sometimes if I am startled or overwhelmed, I get scared and let out a little growl.  But, I am never aggressive.  I am just scared and need you to reassure me that everything is all right.  I need a person that can understand my past and show me love.  And I will show you love right back."

Notes from her foster mom:

 I would suggest definitely no toddlers, or grade school children.  I think that 11+ would be fine.  She was abused, and so she has a tendency to be very particular how and where she is petted/touched, therefore, I think young children could be a bad match. 
-  She is actually under one year old, about 6-10 months.
-  Spayed, UTD on vaccines. No health concerns.
-  Great litter box manners. 
-  She has begun to chew on shoelaces, which I am currently breaking her of. She is still a kitten :).
-  I have seen her scratch, but a corrective tone or snapping my fingers and she stops. I have no damage on any of my furniture.  But I do provide her with a few scratching posts.
